American River Parkway

Fair Oaks is nestled along the beautiful American River, bordered by the American River Parkway bike path: a 32 mile, 4900 acre expanse of land and water deemed the "jewel of Sacramento" that runs from Old Sacramento to Folsom Dam.

The American River Parkway is truly a treasure to the Fair Oaks community. Whether you're a bike riding family, long-time birder, boater, runner or just need a beautiful place to walk after a long day at the office, the 32-mile stretch of parkway has a little bit of something for everyone.
